Community Engagement and Outreach Core aims:

  • Serve as the bridge between Precision Nutrition COBRE researchers and communities most impacted by nutrition-related health conditions.
  • Orient all Center researchers to the community and culture.
  • Partner with Hawaii’s largest federally-qualified community health center.
  • Provide insights and collaborations that will foster development of Precision Nutrition studies, methodology, data analysis, dissemination of results, and potential health-related impacts relevant to community needs.
  • Support bidirectional COBRE researcher’s information sharing
